Privacy notice
Short version: the contact form is the only thing here that collects anything, it goes to one person, and nothing is tracked.
What the contact form collects
The fields you fill in: name, work email, and message, all required; company and phone if you choose to give them; and the topic you select. Nothing else is added to it.
Why
To reply to you and, if it goes further, to scope an engagement. That is the only use. Your details are not added to a mailing list, not used for marketing, and not sold, rented, or shared with anyone for their own purposes.
Who processes it
Submissions are handled by Netlify, which hosts this site, and are stored in their dashboard and forwarded to a Soteric Cyber mailbox. Netlify runs an automated spam filter over each submission. Netlify and the email provider are the only third parties that see what you send.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Where an engagement follows, correspondence is kept for the life of the engagement and for as long afterwards as business records require. Spam is deleted as it is found.
What this site does not do
- No analytics. No page views, sessions, or visitor profiles are recorded.
- No cookies. The site sets none, first- or third-party.
- No trackers or advertising pixels. None, on any page.
- No third-party content. Fonts, images, styles, and scripts are all served from this domain, so loading a page tells no one but this site's host that you visited.
Netlify keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and abuse purposes. That is the host operating the server, not analytics.
Your choices
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and it will be done — there is no process to navigate. Get in touch and say so. Depending on where you live you may have these rights under law; they are offered here regardless.
If you would rather not use the form at all, the email address on the contact page reaches the same person.
